I head the Writers Studio, a loose knit group of writers & poets in south central Virginia ranging from serious professionals to abject beginners. We meet once a month to critique each other's work and to have a good time. Once a year I compile the best works of writers and poets from across Virginia into an anthology, Sweetbay Review. (Sweetbay is an old southern term for the magnolia tree.) The print editions have been published through Create Space for the last several years. This year I'm making them available on Kindle as well.
