| There is a paradigm shift taking place right now and as an
independent author I'm excited about it. In the past a reader had to
go to a store and spend a significant amount of money for a book. If
that store happened to be online they had to wait for it to ship.
The popularity of the e-reader has changed all that. Independent
authors are pricing their e-books really low, usually between $0.99
and $3.99. I discovered two really good indie authors that I would
never even have considered had their books not been priced at $0.99:
John Locke & Rick Murcer. E-books are instantly available too. For
Locke, I'm an OOU and probably will be for Murcer since his settings
have involved cruise ships. I like cruising.
